What We Do At First Step Recovery, we provide a safe comfortable environment for people who suffer from the effects of substance abuse and addiction. Our residential programs are located in a quiet peaceful neighborhood just at the edge the foothills in Ione, Amador County, California. We believe in a holistic approach. Working with the Mind, Body, and Spirit we help you learn how to live life again as a whole person, and face real world challenges that won't stop just because you want to. Our Facility Our facility is a residential home and we accommodate up to six clients at any one time. Within the homelike setting we offer home cooked nutritional meals, semi-private rooms, 24 hour staff, and a variety of activities.We are privately owned and not part of a large corporation. This allows our Staff and Counselors to manage your needs on an individual and personal basis without interference.
